Foot pain

I have been told that i have got arthritis in my right foot and that i have to take panadol ostio every day, for ;pain relief, it doesn't seem to work, when i walk the pain is still there i limp all the time i just don't know what to do with my foot sometimes, at night even in bed it is still painfull, any advice would be appreciated.

My rheumatologist had me change shoes. He had me go to a specific running store in town with my old shoes. There, trained personnel examined the wear, watched me walk, decided where and how much the support are should be (grey area at the bottom of the sneaker), and that's what I then wore - even to work.

I used to also wear a blue pad insert in the sneaker but now the sneaker insides are perfect (imo) and I don't need them.

Another thing you might want to try is Vibram five fingers... yes, they look funny but who cares about vanity when your feet hurt?

I have SAS shoes to wear when I absolutely MUST dress better - like for a funeral, and I don't want to wear sneakers. At work they had to accept my sneakers because it is what my rheumatologist told me to wear.

personally I never wear anything but Birkenstock's.....even boots!

might try soaking your feet in Epsom salts? cheap & can't hurt you afterall. and when you're in pain I suggest you stay off your feet as much as possible.
