I really believe that it is possible to restore a scalp from hair loss. There is pretty decent information about the causes of hair loss and how to combat it. Just Google for it. Also use a natural sulfate free shampoo, this info may be helpful . Don't forget about brushing your hair and lathering up in coconut oil.

I don't know how I missed this thread with your post. It's actually a thread from a few years ago.
I've heard that stimulating the scalp helps to keep hair growing, and the regular brushing must help. I definitely have thinner hair than when I was younger, and even then it was thin.

My hairdresser recommended NIOXIN hair care products (shampoo and conditioner primarily) and it really seemed to help the shedding to slow and even stoploss and over the course of a few months actually thickened hair a bit. Initially it was only available in salons but is now available at major chain drug stores like CVS.
