Yeah, just as I thought, they are all having a food hangover. Look at them. Some still sleeping, look at the drool on the corner of Agate's mouth...and Sally, what's that...dried gravy all over her sleeve?

I can't look any more. I'm going to go clean litter boxes. I'd rather look at something I'm used to than this mess......
Now if that isn't a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

His star-spangled thong is covered with BBQ sauce stains, and one of his cats is lolling there with a tail painted red, white, and blue. They're all in a sorry heap after yesterday's extravaganza.

We had a very soggy 4th but yesterday was a dry breezy lower 70s day with bright sunshine. I literally have been a bump on a log all weekend. Start things and don't have energy to finish. Heather dropped Kristof and Gregory at the house for an hour while she ran errands. Dave shot some baskets with them and we walked to the corner for ice cream. They are getting so big. Kristof will be 11 next month and is as tall as I am. Gregory is 7. DH is out back now putting stain on the deck. It's nicely shaded at this time of day.

I just got back home from the mountains of Butler, Tennessee where my youngest son has built a beautiful home on Lake Watauga. He has been telling me that the humidity is so low that I would be comfortable and he was right. The temperature range was from 50's at night to one day when it reached 90 but was still nice.

I'm so tired from the 5 hour ride back I'll come back on tomorrow to give a full report.

I hear a little anger. I've seen the movie "Reefer Madness". I know what can happen. Next thing you know, you'll be playing piano, and laughing madly.

Wait a minute, Howie, doesn't she already do that now? It's the nudity and the food that get weird.

    Good night.
