I agree that the mass exodus is sad, and, being from BT, I do feel like a college graduate , but the in-the-trenches information is from people not sites. There are 76 Epilepsy groups on FB covering problems of children and adults, in Russian, Swedish, German, French, Turkish, and English, and sponsored by experts and ingénues, So FB is not a wasteland of hangnails and what people ate for lunch.

To be clear, I did not imply that FB is a "wasteland" of any kind.

Facebook could have 9,000 Epilepsy groups, but they would be of no use to me, since I am not and never will be on Facebook.

I've been a member of the BT community since 2000, and I have received abundant help from this community. It would be wonderful if BT could thrive again, but it's apparent that the grass is greener elsewhere. I'll be here until I'm no longer able to be here, or until BT becomes nonexistent, whichever comes first. But I think I'll just be content with the way things are and stop expending energy on thinking of ways to make it more appealing or accessible.

    Love & Light,

Our Angel Michael received his wings in 2003 and now resides in Heaven. Our Angel Jon lives at home with me and Jim, the world's most wonderful dad.

I go to BT & FB. Some of my friends there, also come here. I came to BrainTalk first & some of my friends here, became FB friends. But brain talk is my #1. When I first started using the comp., I went to BT. That was about 29 years ago.
Lots of love to you who helped me recover from my brain injury.
