First I hope everyone had a peaceful Thanksgiving. We did, I love cooking Thanksgiving dinner and eating it! Kathleen enjoyed the parade especially the balloons so I'm thankful that they were able to fly them.
The day before thanksgiving Kathleen woke up with tooth pain. We got her right into the dentist and as we thought she needs a tooth pulled. Her baby tooth (the eye tooth) is coming in crooked and the baby tooth is not coming out just getting pushed aside. Advil has helped the pain. We first got an appointment with the oral surgeon on Monday but after they heard her complicated health history thy wanted to so a consult first so it's postponed and the consult will be Wednesday. The pain has subsided for now luckily.
As you know we always seem to be trying to figure out Kathleen's health issues with the little bit of information she can give us. Most recently she will be seeing an endocrinologist for possible Hashimotos which could be what is causing her hypothyroid and inflamation of the thyroid. There are still some strange things going on that have not been quite figured out. She seems to get some attacks of butt pain, bloating of her belly, she cries that her belly feels big, very forceful burping, feeling warm and tired, and itching of her legs(could be numbness or tingling). Just this morning she woke up and her butt hurt a little. She had a bm a little later in the morning and I saw something (sorry it it's TMI!!) She passes these small yellow balls in her stool. I've seen them several times before and it doesn't look normal, they seem so perfectly round (look like a Kix cereal) but I really had no idea if it was normal. It just sounded so strange I never mentioned it. I've tried to think of something she ate that looked like this but there's nothing, and none of her meds look like this, it's too perfectly round. So this morning I actually crushed one. It was filled with a white powdery substance. I of course looked it up and It seems it could be a gallstone!! She doesn't seem to have the upper belly pain but some of the less common symptoms were burps bloating tired and feeling warm. Also it is linked to Hashimotos, crohn's and celiac. Is this crazy to think she could have gallstones??? I'll keep this in the back of my mind and watch if they appear again and what she feels like when it happens. I haven't seen anything else that these "balls" could be.
