    Default Hi After your thoughts please

    Hi im new here,i have been diagnosed with a Colloid Cyst in the third ventricle and have just had my yearly CT scan results back and didnt understand this part
    ' The Cyst is Predominantly Iso-Dense with an area of Calcification ' I thank you in advance for any help on this.

    My cyst (2002) was found to be totally calcified (means it isn't a fluid filled sack) and it changes the approach to removing it.

    Essentially it means is has hardened over time - it isn't any riskier than the non-calcified cysts.
