Default Can I ask a cooking question?

Hi, I wan't to make chicken soup today. John isn't feeling well & since we all have been told that chicken soup helps, I think we now believe it ourselves (it sorta 'feels' good). I have carrots but no celery in the frig. (& you know I can't drive to the store.) What do you think of green pepper? I also have a cucumber.

I would skip the cuke and go for the pepper. No celery powder or celery salt?

Well that was mighty sweet of her. My mom use to freeze extra celery and use it for stews and soups.
