Abby, at least try to get it through Medicare. Sometimes they surprise you and cover something you didn't expect them to cover.

WELCOME to facing forward! Hope you'll start a thread and introduce yourself so everyone can chime in and welcome you.

Abby, can't help with your question about Medicare, but I will tell you that I have a cousin that is a Doctor and really believes in them. I don't know what kind. I think he buys cheaper ones and just replaces them when he feels they are not working anymore. But hey - he is a Doctor and can do that. I do not have one but would like to have.

It sounds like a prior approval item.
    Did you buy it already?

I'm really glad you found something that works well. Hope it lasts forever for you!

The building I live in keeps talking about installing new carpeting in the common areas like hallways and entrances. Some tenants are saying they're going to leave while this is going on because of the fumes. The management says the fumes won't be a problem because of the type of materials they're using.

I'd like to know anybody's thoughts on this. I didn't realize that the fumes from a carpet installation could be bad.

Carpet fumes can be really bad amd when I finally got moved into my studio and they had put in the white burbur for me I was afraid of fumes but there were none, but the problem is you won't know until after the fact. This IQ Air (with that extra filter I got) will take that out of the air (I hope)

I really debated over this thing and if they hadn't offered it to me on a interest free installment deal I may not have gotten it. I am so tired of having to smell other peoples cooking smells and cig smoke.

:) Hi everyone. This cough I have had for about 9 months is caused by an extreme allergy to dust mites. I am supposed to start allergy shots.

For now they have me on a six day taper down of methylprednisolone 4 mg steroid and a heavy antibiotic amox-clav 875 mg twice a day for 21 days. I am on the secong round of both.

My cough is almost gone. But the air cleaners are helping a lot. I got a Therapure air cleaner at Walmart for under $100. I have one in my bedroom and one in the computer room running continuously.

I am in a kind of overwhelmed mood today. There is so much here that needs doing but I do not know where to start so I procrastinate. I think I am going to get on my scooter and mop the floors for a start.

Please keep me in your prayers as you are all in my prayers. ((((Hugs)))) Jeanie :)
