We've seen that many members of this board have gone on to other things. What with the frequent down times we used to have, it's almost inevitable that people will go elsewhere.
Whether or not this board can keep on may depend on whether message boards in general are going to survive as a viable kind of communication on the Internet.
I'm guessing that message boards will still have a lot to offer, compared with Twitter, Facebook, etc. It may take time to build this place back up again though.
Right now there seems to be a lull but then Peg hasn't been able to get in here and post for nearly a month, Gary has had a very severe fire, and other people have been swamped with their personal and health problems as well.

Yes, I can certainly relate to being swamped since I now have to accompany my husband to his doctor's appointments of which there have been many and still many more to come.
I probably will not be here as much as his condition continues to deteriate.

I hope that we do not loose the forum. It has meant such a great deal to me and I have no interest in going elsewhere. I trust many of the people on here when I need answers. I also like to keep up with what is going on with them. Having said all this, I know that I am guilty of not posting as much as I should. I read and think that I will post later, but then do not do it. A lot has to do with underlying depression due to progression I think, but still that does not excuse my lack of posting.
Gabriella, I keep you and your husband, along with Jeanie and David, and Gary and his wife in my nightly prayers.
By the way, I am also very bad about calling friends. I have become more introverted lately.

Gabriella--and everyone else here who is overloaded or hurting, this board can't offer much. We can't come to help or even offer financial aid, but at least we try to be here as a place where you can express yourself and get some feedback.

I do appreciate all the people here on this board and I usually come here when I have time to read and post. Thanks to all for the prayers...I made alonger post on the monthly thread about what is going on with Joe.
Blessings,

I too have noticed things have slowed down a lot on MS Braintalk. In the OLD days I had posted about 2,500 posting on the OLD Braintalk.org. They are now just history.
I still do lots of med related research, but most of it is to try to stay alive at age 69 with all kinds of medical problems that the MS only helps to make worse. I cannot blame MS for causing all my current medical problems.
Now that there are some meds that treat MS I think that the MS specialists have a lot more customers. I have enjoyed reading all the posts here over the last 10 years. I wish my old postings were more available to folks. I put a lot of work into some of these and would like to continue the discussion here.
I do make a special effort to comment when someone really posts something wrong or I think I may have the exact answer to a question.
