    Default I'm back.. sort of

Hi all, I have missed many of you! I cannot believe it's been 14 years since I was first dx'd with MS and I joined this group.

People like Cherie and Agate were among the first people I met online. There were others, but my memory has been compromised since those days. I really hate MS!

I will be around more often, after I get my computer back.
    Until then,
    take care... jendie

I'm so glad you remembered me.

How has life been treating you? Hope you'll bring us up to date with what's been going on.

    Hi Harpist!!

It's good to see you, after all these years. I'm back in Washington, living in Anacortes. My dad sold his business in Seaside and is living in southern California now since my step-mom got a job working down there.

It would be nice to catch up with you and hear how you have been.

    Take care... until next time,

    Default Blast fron the Past

    Hi Jendie,

I was in Anacortes just a couple weeks ago (we were taking the ferry up to Vancouver).

A lot has happened since last we met. I am remarried and living just outside of Sandpoint, Idaho. I am working part time doing engineering consulting and stock analysis. I also run a community website DoverIdahoNews.com where I document the constant missteps of our city government.

Health-wise, I am in pretty good shape. Since starting Rebif in 2001, I have not had a relapse. The pain levels have increased but are manageable by constantly rotating medications. A couple of years ago, a pain specialist started me on methadone which has been a God-send for my night life (i.e. I am able to sleep on a consistent basis). However, I am just about to rotate off it (once the weather breaks here) which means a lot of sleepless nights.

We have one daughter graduated in interior design and architecture from University of Idaho and is working in Anchorage and our second son in grad school in mechanical engineering at Montana State. The second daughter is at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls and third daughter at University of Idaho. That just leaves first son who lives near us, but is presently unemployed.

I'll PM you my email address (none of teh old ones are presently active).

    Good Roads

    Hi Gary!

Yep - I am still living up in Dover (near Sandpoint) building a wood fired pizza oven in my spare time and bugging our local city council (they don't like to be filmed). Congrats on your son (which department?). Go Vandals! (I did my masters and doctorate there). For the first time in years, I have no daughters in Moscow - one graduated, one transferred to Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls and the other transferred to Oregon State in Corvallis.

I still am affiliate faculty at Idaho (which means I teach two - one hour classes each year). But I have found that my body tolerates the classroom less and less each year.

Hope all is well with you.

    Good Roads
