I have not been able to connect in a long time. My nephew sent my husband an iPad as a gift and I am using that to say hello. I have no idea how I finally got this page . You can say hello.at my webtv address.

Ssusan and I have still been doing a Saturday farmers market here in western am. Lately we have been selling fresh figs and lots of our wonderful fingerling potatoes...organic of course.

John has been sick for a month so thr farm is a mess. Diabetic ulcers and massive foot infection but so far they have saved his life, his foot and all his toes.

I do not know how I will find this site again but Ssusan keeps me posted.

Linda, Thanks for posting and I hope you do manage to find your way back here.
I like visiting farmer's markets but don't do it often. My sister does help out her daughter-in-law's dad at his from time to time.

Praying that they can get John's diabetes under control. The problems he's having is due to that, yes?

    Hi Linda,

I hope you are well. You have a lot on your hands. My mother helped my father (and his vascular surgeon) save his foot, toes, life a few times. It is hard work- morning and night.

And then there is your farm and the Farmer's Market's.

So pleased to hear from you,
    ANN

How great to hear from you I have been wondering how the Farmers Market was going. Hope that John continues to mend. I know from experience that when there is a "disaster" (and most problems are) and I am not able to do something about it. It drives me nuts.

Hope that you can find your way back!!

Hi Linda, so nice to hear from you. I wish I could come to your Farmer's Market. Do you do green beans? A big pot of steaming ham, green beans and some of your potatoes sure sounds yummy.

We lived next door to a Family farm and always went to their Kid's Harvest market.. They gave us a lot too.

I pray your DH is better soon. (((HUGS)))

    Hi Linda,

I hope you can find a way to get back for good. The Farmer's Market sounds great. I go to our's here in my town, but I can only stay long enough to get a few items and leave. I think it is wonderful that you and Susan can actually work at one.

Hope John gets better. That can be a constant battle.

    Default I,m back again!

I do not know how I am using this IPad but am learning a bit more each day .
John is still in tough shape and I am exhausted.

Nice to hear all the good wishes,

John found a way to speak an email into the IPad and have it come out as if he had typed it---with correct punctuation!

    :) Hi everyone.

Linda I read in the pharmacist column that 100% honey applied to skin MRSA heals it. When David came back from a camping trip last year he had weeping reddened sores on his back. I used Neosporin for days and nothing changed.

After reading about the honey I put honey on bandages and applied twice a day. In a few days his sores healed completely. I was amazed but now I go for the honey before Neosporin.

I hope John heals soon. Jeanie :)
