Lightbulb WHAT NOT TO WEAR Features Wheelchair Woman

I've only seen the previews, but Stacey & Clinton are finally getting around to addressing & dressing a woman who uses a wheelchair. The episode will air next Tuesday, I believe, probably with multiple reruns during the week. I feel strongly that the TLC show is long overdue to be dealing with women with disabilities, whatever they may be. And if Stacey has the nerve to fondle one more pair of pointy heels, I hope the guest smacks her with it. From the previews, it appears the guest contracted polio as a child. Some of the shots show her standing with [I don't know the correct word] short crutches that wrap around the forearm.

So by next week, we'll have some idea of how well they handle this situation. And how well the TLC network does.

I have been seeing the previews for this Sher. She is also supposed to do a show or shows for big girls also. I like to watch once in a while if there is nothing else on.

i LOVE what not to wear! i've been watching it since it started, prolly already 8 or 9 years ago.

yes, it IS time they addressed people with disabilities and especially women in wheelchairs. what not to wear has always made-over larger women. there is a show after it called "brooklyn something" or "something brooklyn". i have already seen one episode of that and its about a woman who opened a plus size store in brooklyn and designs all the clothes in it and then sells them. the episode i saw was one where she decided to design jeans especially for bigger women.

there is a show on the same channel, TLC, on fridays at 9pm called "say yes to the dress" and it's all about brides going to this big new yoprk bridal shop and trying to find the dress of their dreams while bringing opinionated girlfriends, prudish mother's and father's who want their daughter's to look like a princess along to help them pick out the right dress.

these 2 hows are may favorite "trash tv" shows...lol

Here's to good women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.

Watched this today and at the end when she comes out in the yellow dress for ... heck...what's their faces....lol, you don't even see the wheelchair you are so overwhelmed by her presence. She is really beautiful.

Jeannie I like to watch that too. They have one for bridesmaids too.

There isn't too much I like to watch, those above, DIY, home makeover type stuff. Lots of indie movies, Sundance and those type lately, seen a lot of good stuff.

There is a new Tori Spelling show for crafters and Craft Wars and I missed it's debut but am watching it now. Surprise!! Twas happenstance. My brain would never remember when it was to be on LOL.

I can't bear shows like Toddlers and Tiaras, Bridezilla, crap like that. I always wonder where child protective services is in all of these shows, Teen Mom crap and stuff. Most other is murder, politics or sports or *******s (wow it won't let me say red necks so I can't actually name the shows lol)doing something. Okay...wait, I did watch something called Duck Dynasty last night. I laughed my butt off but I was fascinated with the mindset that so called red necks are uneducated based on the way they sound and what blew my mind is how they speak. Their accent is off putting because these big, burly, bearded men were doing stupid things, in swamp with a dry-vac and long hose trying to suck up the bees so they could get this humongous honey comb, and their speaking is so intelligent sounding you wonder what the hell possessed them to do it in the first place. Is it just cause it is the male nature to come up with an unending list of stupid ideas throughout his lifetime?

Oh and oddly enough I love watching Gene Simmons Family Values. I know.....it is quite amusing and he actually is a real softie.
