But Jo I have been into the ER a ridiculous amount of times and if I am not dying they make you sit and sit and sit and sit
and by then I am in tears because laying there with no pillow on a mat that is three inches thick on a metal table is excruciating. The last time I went for my heart they left me on one of those %$)*^$ tables for 3 hours doing nothing but drawing blood. If they are not that concerned then I figure I am not dying and will take care of it on my own. So now I am waiting to see the heart specialist and am fine.

Same with this probable gallbladder stuff. They would have taken 6 hours of me laying on that bed to do a scan, treat me for the pain and then send me home to see my primary in a week so I can see a specialist. That is the way it always goes. So I treated my pain and will see my primary next week so I can see a specialist. Now if it happens again I will go to the ER. I'm not a sucker for punishment lol

Hey Chris, I had my hot gallbladder out 40 years ago & I still occasionally get pains. My Other Cousin is a GI doc & he says there could be a little pouch that's developed at the common duct. I think we can still make "sand", but I don't know about stones. Anyway, once in a while I get spasms of that common duct or else my entire gut is seething. Talk to your doc about Levsin S/L [sublingual] -- that's what does the trick for me. AKA Hyoscyamine 0.125mg. You will definitely be thirsty but maybe more comfortable. My dad used to make me take Belladonna drops -- yuck.

But seriously, if you're maxxed out on pain meds, SOMETHING just might be wrong. We all want you back onboard so we can nag you more!

So I'm not the only one being tortured. I stuggle with the worst nausea most days, I am crippled by it. No one can seem to help me. Sometimes I wish something would happen and I'd just stop breathing. I don't want to live like this. There is no joy in this kind of existence.

Yes, I know, I never post, here, anymore! *But*, *now*, I'm *not* letting *this*, go!!
Look! With all of the pain, you're, in, you *need* to be seen!!! And, as far as those stretchers,
tell them, you *need* a hospital *bed*!!! Chris, I've had kidney stones which, hurt like, hell!!
I had to be hospitalized with an I.V.!! They had to do it with Meds.!! Guess, why?!? I WAITED!!!
*DON'T* make the same goofy mistake! Again, tell them, you *need* a bed! It's a *hospital*!
It not like, they don't have one!

Phyllis I no longer have a gallbladder. I already had it out due to some bothersome gall stones.

Now I suffer from IBS that is kept mostly at rest with Digestive Advantage but without it I have wicked nausea and terrible gut cramping, diarrhea and gas.

Barque I odn't know how you feel about it or if you have ever tried it but Marihuana is wonderful for those with stomach issues. Maybe it is something you could read up on. When I am having trouble with my nausea and crampy bowel that only way I can even get food down is to smoke about 15 minutes before eating. If I am okay or my digestive stuff is kept current I don't need to smoke. Thank God it has settled down for a while now that all my meds and stuff are staying filled liked they should be.

Barque I know I could go to the doc and he would be more than happy to write me a scrip for whatever I need but my goal is to keep the meds to a minimum. That is why I treat my IBS myself because as soon as I make a complaint he is going to wanna send me to all kinds of specialists who will do all kinds of miserable tests just to write me a scrip. As long as it is not affecting my every day life then I am fine with that. Shoot with all the other problems I have my IBS is low on the list.

Now for my gallbladder, I know that after surgery some 'sludge' or small gravel can be left behind in the ducts. Guess I should have looked to see if it will pass by itself or if it gets bunched up and stuck.

I have 5 different doctor appts coming up and that is not even including yet another visit to see my primary so he can do a referral for this new issue. I was there a little over two weeks ago and his nurse, who is new, is just now getting my paperwork taken care of. I called there yesterday and talked to the referral lady and told her that my doc's nurse is slackin' off so today the nurse calls me with a question about my insurance so I grilled her about who I was to see and how many referrals I needed and she tried to claim that most had been sent out. That is when she tells me that I have to see their Ob/Gyn because the pap I had done way back in November came back suspect and no one ever told me. It only takes 3-4 days at the most to get my mail from there and it has been almost 3 weeks for one and months for the other. Needless to say I am pretty po'ed.

    Okay I am done blabbing

ok, I won't nag. I know how it feels to get nagged to death when I already know all these things and am trying to do my best to correct them.

I will say I care about you and want so bad for you to feel better. You are way too young to have to suffer so much all the time. You beat rings around me even when I was younger and I stayed busy all the time raising kids and working.
When you post I know you are still alive and want to stay alive and I want to help you stay that way. Call on me and I'll come running. Well, maybe hobbling along.

be well my dear queenie, Jo The queen *bee

Chris, hope you are feeling better! here's another suggestion for you: try a gluten free diet. my housemate has had IBS forever & he swears he's doing better gluten free. just a thought.

you seem to be caught in the doc merry go round. well I have faith in you to get on them & force some action.

now about the weird pap smear? what the heck does that mean? it was either ok or not. innsist on talking to a real doc would be my advice. sooner the better!

take care as best you can Chris. don't get lost in the paper shuffle.

BTW love your smilies & what happened to the bunny ears?

    (((hugs & loves)))) Pati

Ah my Jo you could never be a nag. I know every thing you say is said with love and concern so to me you never seem to be nagging.

Pati I am being monitored for cervical cancer and it has been a few years since I had my last LEEP because my paps have been coming back normal since the last one. I guess this time they must have found a few questionable cells in my smear. Usually some precancerous epithelials come back then they decide when they will do the next LEEP.

I have been saying that if I have to have a third LEEP I would just ask to them for a hysterectomy but I am not up for that right now and a LEEP is a whole lot easier.

The odd thing is that I actually am bleeding these last two menstrual cycles and I haven't actually had any kind of flow for the last couple of years. So I am interested in seeing what the tests say.

Here's bunnies Pati. Lots more where I go lol.
