Oldie?/NEW again-Spiney

Hi all
I was part of the site back in early 2000. That right? Hmmmn....Guess so. Anyway, back then, I used the name Still Smiling or Still.Smiling (which is still here, I'm just not savvy enough to figure out how to use it again.)
Thanks to everyone, you got me through some very, very tough times, surgeries, paralysis,etc.

While I'm doing pretty well these days, my husband is not, so I'm here for him. I hope I can find the help he needs....

I have been keeping things inside for a long time now - figured when I went to buy a dryer and just about broke down, it was time to look up some old and very good friends....

Hi Lynnie, this site was a life savior for me as well. I was on BrainTalk in the early 2002-2003. I felt so alone, then and one night I ran across BrainTalk the people in the chat that night saved me, trully. I had totally given up. I stayed up till early morning with the people on that night. I laid down for a couple of hours and was up by 9am. It was the first time in about 15 years that (I don't really know to describe this) that mentally I felt like I was in my body. I called everyone in my family and told them that your daughter is here today, your mother is here today, your sister is here today, my best friend and my husband your wife is here today. I told him I don't care haw many pain pills I have to take today I want to enjoy being me. My sister and friend came over we played ping pong and ate dinner. Had a wonderful day. I was gone again the next day and I have not been back since. I have started crying now. I would love to be me all of the time. Mentally I don't understand why it is this way. But let me get back to welcome back. And if I can be of help just have to let me know.
