Christmas Ridiculous lol

Hi ya'll I have decided to start a thread about some of the ridiculous gifts that are being advertized this year either on TV or from the WWW.

My wonderful, loving, caring CJ informed me that he had found the perfect gift for me, that I would love it. He was gleefully taking away the surprise which he doesn't usually do and tried to explain it to me, that he had seen it on TV and I just had to have it.

A couple of nights later and I am watching TV and playin' on the puter and I hear him wandering down the hall heading down to me and just as he arrives in the doorway this commercial starts and before they even named I knew it was what he was talking about.

Now I have always wanted a pair of sleeper pajamas. I love them and they remind me of babies in their sweet, soft little blanket sleepers which is what I always believed them to be called. NOT for ever lazies.

I know he loves me and knows I have always wanted a pair of BLANKET SLEEPERS but I am not in denial of the fact that if I was to wear a pair I would like like one of these two

Plus they only come in extra small, medium and extra large. I am pretty sure that the XL will hold me something like this

soooooo......I quickly informed him that the blanket sleepers were no longer on the table. I would never live down the teletubby jokes whether out loud or in my head lolol.

LOL as soon as you mentioned the "footed" pj's I knew just what the item was. Has anyone with a TV missed these horrible commercials going on since forever years!! I am so glad you did guess and nix it because it would have been impossible to act happy come present opening time.

However, I DO know a woman that does have a footed pair of pj's like you mentioned made for children. I suspect it was either her or her husbands ideal as I suspect she has the coldest feet ever, LOL. Protection for himself as well. Surely he will come up with a different plan. good luck sweety.

Believe it or not, I don't think I have EVER seen that commercial. lol lol

Here's one I think of all you girls when I see it. It's aimed for the Plumbers, or should I say for all the ladies that have to call plumbers out.. they are called "Cover Butt Extra Long Shirts for Plumbers.

Then they "test them out!! lol lol next come the Pants for to go with the Butt Covering Shirts. !!

Lets just say when the guy squats down he will sing in high C . With the plumbers pants he has a very deep voice.

Now that's about the wackies commercials I have every seen. I actually lol at that commercial. I don't usually even see commercials cause I close my eyes and I usually take a little nap for awhile!

Better go see if I can find Christina's commercials. Now what size did you say you would wear lil'queenie?

Joy I use to not be able to stand have anything on me except the blankets but compliments of cold feet and sweaty body I now sleep with a tshirt or tank and footies. i know doesnt seem to go together but i do it lol

They keep pushing for people to buy this and that for Christmas. If I had my way I would be just spending time with my family and be giving to those needy people in the world.

I, too, have not seen this ad on TV. BUT I know Hank would most likely live it a pair around the house. And only change into "street clothes" if we went somewhere.

I am with you Sue. I am relieved this year I don't have a god awful amount of gifts to buy. I guess that is one benefit of family not talking to ya lol. I am thinking of making gifts this year for any extended family. I have a sewing area full of stuff that isn't getting used and jars that can hold cookie mixes and stuff.

I have seen the stupid stomping footsie things commercial once already. and am dreading seeing it again. Now as for the shirt with the extra three inches tail. Who are they kidding? As low as most mens' jeans are, three inches would not be enough. I'd daresay for some men six inches would be almost sufficient maybe. Now that hubby has lost some weight (I'll say THAT is what is the cause anyway, LOL) when I see his butt crack I immediately hunt for the suspenders. He has to wear them along with his belt or else. Yep I am a mighty cranky woman when it comes to some things!!

In all fairness, hubby is taller than most so naturally his shirts are just about always way to short. He is still at least 6'3" even being like myself, shorter from old age.
