Great ad for handicapped people in wheelchairs.
Sunshine, it is a great ad. Thanks for sharing.
Whatever is going on with family, we will be thinking of you, hoping it will soon be resolved and you will soon be back with us. Just know we are here for you.

Very compelling ad! I know of some elevators where it should be posted. Some of them have gaps in between the elevator cage floor and the floor you're going to or leaving, and a wheelchair wheel can get lodged in that gap. It happens very suddenly of course and you're at risk of being tipped out of the chair. And you have to disentangle your chair from this mess.

“Baby it’s cold outside!” Whew, 7 degrees when I got up today. I’m grateful for a toasty house and it’s good to know it still can get cold in winter. I hope Linda can keep the greenhouses warm enough. And we have snow coming but not too much.
The stomach situation, which never went completely away, got worse again this week. It’s maddening. I have no extra weight to lose. I’ve only gained back three of the 39 pounds I lost and I want to keep them.
Sunshine, I’ve said a prayer for you and your family.
I’m happy that Virginia got a vaccine. I see that there is a site near Linda but that doesn’t mean much. It’s so chaotic in most(?) places. I haven’t been able to get an appointment for MIL. There are only two sites available in the entire city. What?? This is not going well. All is blamed on not enough vaccine but you can’t even make a future appointment. Another worry.
Trying to end on a good note. Hmm, I made my vegetable soup yesterday and had two small cups of it during the rest of the day.

I'm so sorry that your stomach issue worsened. I so wish that you had some option to resolve it or at least keep it under the radar, so that you could gain and retain weight.
With a temp of 7 degrees, if you keep going like this, you might be able to store the vaccines (which you don't have) in the snow!
Thank you for the link ~ I enjoyed it too, and it was spot on. Every so often, I stop what I'm doing, shake my head and ask, "What kind of cray cray world are we living in now? It's like a montage of every disaster movie ever made." I try to limit my news time to reduce my stress, but I'm still stressed if I don't know what is happening.
Healing prayers for you and for everyone here ~

Rose

This kind of thing makes me very angry. This demyelination problem that we have takes away so much--it sometimes takes away pretty much everything, but does it have to take away the ability to EAT?The stomach situation, which never went completely away, got worse again this week. It’s maddening. I have no extra weight to lose. I’ve only gained back three of the 39 pounds I lost and I want to keep them.
I hope this isn't what is happening to you, ANN.

Ann, hope this problem you are having straightens out very soon. Not eating is not a good thing.
