DAR, I am holding you in my heart. To endure such traumas, words fail me, other than to say you have a strong spirit even through your heartbreak.

Greetings, DAR. I haven't been here in a long time myself. There just didn't seem to be anything to say.

My MS also isn't not really making a nuisance of itself. I normally don't have a balance problem but do use a walker or cane to support my weight. That relieves some of the pain of my achy muscles and bones.

My condolences on the loss of your relatives. A sister is hard, especially a younger one. A few years ago I lost my 2nd youngest sister to cancer. I can imagine that the cousin you grew up with was almost like a brother. I know mine are. So that's two siblings in a short time.

My prayers for you and your family.

Hi Sunshine 2, You are most kind and your words are truly encouraging to me. I just try to remember the words that I started this thread with. It is one of my favorite Bible verses, located at Ecclesiastes 9:11. It reminds me that we all go through unexpected and difficult situations at one time or another. Thank you so much for your repeated support.

Hi Parsi, I remember you!! Sorry to read of your pain and your achy muscles and bones. I decided to get a upright walker, in the hopes that I will correct my poor posture from using my rollator. It should be arriving within the next few days and I am excitedly awaiting its arrival.

Thank you for your sincere condolences. So sorry that you lost a sister to cancer. One of my oldest friends recently loss her son to colon cancer. Even when you know it is going to happen, the death of a child is one of the most difficult losses to endure. I imagine the loss of your sister felt similarly.

My cousin was as close as a sibling, he has 3 sisters and 3 brothers and I have been close to them all. I thought so much about him on the 15th, I can't believe he has been gone for 6 months now. The 15th was a down day for me.

It was great to hear from you. Thanks again!

DAR, my Mother use to quote that verse from Matthew when I would be real upset. It is so true and I wish I could live by it. Unfortunately, I am a worrier by nature, then add the MS and I become doubly so. However, I find myself sometime remembering the verse from Matthew when trying to calm myself. Thanks for reminding me.

The quotation from Matthew is one my mother used on me too, Virginia and Dar, except that it was from a different translation:

"Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
