Time to get up, Howie. Surely Sam has made sure you got that message.

Virginia, I have not bought any books for Mom recently. She got books from 4 of us in July including a box of westerns and romances and another box of a nieces Quality Paperback Books. Today we sent her 13 pounds of used books we collected for her. Someone in the neighborhood gets advanced copies of novels so we had a bunch of those. I get some of my best book ideas from you and Linda.

Iím really hoping that we hear from Jeanie Z. Could someone who does FB check there please?

Jeanie doesn't seem to have been here on this board in 5 days unless she's decided to be invisible. She hasn't communicated on Facebook since mid-May. Jeanie, is everything OK???

That is concerning. Usually, no matter how bad things are Jeanie tries to say at least a couple of sentences to let us know she is there.

She may have been hit by bad storms and might be in the midst of a power outage.

    ((((((Hugs to All)))))) ~

Jeanie's area has had a few outages over the past few days, according to a weather report on her local news. The weather there today was sunny, hot, and humid.

So, it is concerning that Jeanie has not checked in with us. I just hope that she told one or both of her sons about her connection here, so that they can contact us, if anything is amiss.

Many prayers that you are okay, and just being quiet, Jeanie.

    Love & Light,

    Rose

    More later, or tomorrow...

Worried about Jeanie. We didnít have any bad storms that would knock out power for so long....she and I get similar storms. Maybe up to 8 hours of no power if youre in a certain node, but not 5 days....

    Thumbs up

I went through a long period of no power once, and it was the most difficult thing to endure. I lost count of the number of times I hit a light switch when going into a room, and of course the light didn't come on.

Well, it's Friday again. I expect my brother will call later. For me, it's been a week of my sleep pattern gone haywire. I think I'm in a sleep one night, stay awake the next. Last night was a great sleeping night.

Every night, I take my sleep med. But some nights, it has no effect. Very frustrating. My next store trip, I'll look for something else. I seem to have gotten use to this med.

Well, everyone have a great day!

    ..................................................
My brother just sent an email that he won't be calling. I love to know ahead of time so I don't spend the day just waiting. I hate to wait for something that never comes. So, I'm FREE!

If we don't hear from Jeanie by tomorrow, should one of us call her? I have her number and I think one or two others do.

Let's see if we hear from her today.

Probably yes, Virginia. What ever is going on, she would appreciate prayers. Please pray for her.

I was just wondering about calling too, Virginia. I'd hesitate to call because it could be intrusive--a call from someone from an MS message board, maybe at a time when she's having a crisis of some kind and might be waiting for an important call from a doctor or pharmacy?

I just don't know. But your idea sounds good, Virginia.

Yes Ann, prayers, which I have already been doing nightly because I know she has a hard time even without shingles.

Okay, if no one objects she has got until tomorrow to check in, but no later.
