    CRISIS COPING

I need strength to soldier through.
Im doing what I have to do.
Quiet prayers said through the days
Bring me solace in many ways
Pleas for safety of family and friends,
Health workers, grocers, the list never ends.

While my prayers join with others in need
And nourish my aching soul indeed,
Its chocolate that feeds the bodys craving
Combined with food stuffs Ive been saving.

A bit of chocolate every day
Sees me through, although I say
Its a placebo thats for sure.
Wish it could contribute to a cure.
    Creamy milk or hearty dark
Shot with almonds in tasty bark,
    Surrounding raisins smooth and round
Delight my tongue without a sound.

While I await the crisis end,
Prayers to heaven I will send,
Enjoy a candy or maybe two.
Prayer and chocolate will see me through.

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says:"Oh Crap, She's up!"
