Jeanie, I had steak for dinner too, but it wasn't wiped down with a Clorox wipe! I'll have to try that recipe! LOL, just teasing.
And believe it or not, DH made some brownies just yesterday. I keep telling him to add walnuts next time! He's a good guy . . . guess I'll keep him!
Sounds like there are many good neighbors out there, for sure!

Cats are great critter getters. Sam has a long list of critters she would lay on the porch for me to see. She would relish in the praise I would give her. Your flowers really show it's Springtime!

I doubt that the Clorox wipe would improve the flavor much.

nuthatch, what splendid poppies! I just love those flowers.

Nuthatch, the poppies must be spreading in your neighbors yard also. They must be mowing them down, which in my opinion is not a smart thing. Just think, you could probably have a whole neighborhood of poppies.

One of these days I am going to have a steak delivered to me. I had not thought of it, but I guess the better places have a way of keeping them hot. Right now I still have food I need to get rid of.

Speaking of food, I made the garlic potato soup again yesterday. That means I don’t have to cook tonight.

Peter thanks you all for the kind birthday messages.

Good news, Walmart finally has an opening and will deliver to Mom tomorrow morning. I’ll let you know how that goes.

Steak? I'll bet it's been 15+ years since I had steak. My dad had a charcoal grill that looked like a big red ball on 3 legs. He used to grill fillet minion?(sp) They would melt in your mouth, and the flavor, WOW! I'm getting hungry!

Almost everything went great with Mom’s Walmart delivery. She got everything that was on the order. They have been out of Stouffer’s Stuffed Green Peppers so it didn’t make it into this order. We are pleased. The price was actual Walmart in-store prices plus $9.95 delivery fee. Very fair.

Only glitch is that Mom opened the door to hand the older man who did the shopping $20. He was not wearing mask or gloves and neither was she. OMG. She’ll do better next time.

I am alright Sunshine. Just been a little depressed lately. This aloneness is different from anything I felt before this, but I know most all of us are going through it and I will be fine.

Sunshine, I have been keeping up with your swimming and IVIG and I am always amazed. There are others on here that are such an inspiration.
