All rain water is clean enough to drink. Okay....just guessing!

:) Virginia you and all your family have been in my prayers as are all this boards posters. I will say an extra one for your brother. I name everyone who posts here and their families every night. My prayer list is so long it takes awhile to go through it.

Little miracles happen everyday. My watch stopped for a day and I tried everything to see if it would work. I said a prayer and later I noticed it was on a different time. It started working on its own. I am so glad as I do look at the time a lot.

Take care everyone and stay safe. Nice to hear from Ralph. Jeanie :)

Today is Peter’s birthday. Yesterday I made him fudge brownies with walnuts. Last night we ordered his favorite pizza. And this morning I made him Bob’s Mills 7 Grain Pancakes with maple syrup (and bacon for me). He is a carb lover.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETER! Ann is making sure you get all your favorite things. Glad to see there was some chocolate on that list.

My brother and his wife did not come in today, but they stopped off and brought me a few items. Two of the things I had requested was a pint of pistachio gelato and some more chocolate promises. My SIL bought TWO pints of the gelato. I was expecting her to say she couldn't find it but she did. I have not had a chance to ask how he is feeling, but hopefully better. Almost forgot, my SIL made me a mask. She put it in a plastic zip lock bag and I haven't taken it out yet, so not sure how it works. She stayed out on the porch, while I opened the door and asked her if she also cut hair. She laughed and said only her own.

:) I am so tired of cooking. I ordered a steak dinner from Longhorn and drove there with my mask and gloves on. They brought it to the van. When I got home I wiped everything with Clorox wipes. It was delicious and so nice not to have to cook and do dishes.

    Stay safe everyone. Jeanie :)

Jeanie, my neighbor brought me some meatloaf and two brownies. I opened two small cans, one of corn and one of green beans. Was nice. I had one of the brownies. Mine didn't have walnuts, but the one I ate was good.

    Happy Birthday to Ann's Peter!

We have been having off and on rain here but today was sunny and clear. All that rain is producing another beautiful poppy bloom. Again this year, it appears that we the only house on the street with these wild flowers . . . that I don't understand! They spread so easily. The weeds like us too, but they like everybody. If it's anything like last year's bloom, it's just getting started.

Between my husband's gopher traps and the cat, there are now a dozen less of those destructive little critters in the world.

Spring has sprung! Here is last year's bloom. So pretty. I'll post a pic of this year's bloom once it gets to going.
