One thing to remember with any grocery delivery service, is they are all swamped right now! I can't imagine how busy all those services are at this time. And some things like paper products are sold out. That's just how it is right now.

    Good morning all.

I've been up since 3am. I think I went to bed at 11, but when I woke up, I felt well rested, so I've been watching DVDs ever since. My antenna doesn't work until a part I ordered for it gets here which will be another week. So DVDs are it until then.

I am drinking coffee, and have been since I woke up. Good ol' French Vanilla Creamer, I love it. Since I don't go out again until payday, this is how I spend my days and nights. I have a few projects in mind, but am saving them for now.

Everyone have a great day, and be safe.

A little update on my instacart order - As of now all debits and credits have been removed from my checking account except one debit of $19.27. I will see what they do next.

Howie, I think it was you who asked about the stimulus check which was put into my account on 4/15. However, I had a refund from my taxes which I mailed in early March and I have not received that refund. Go figure.

Virginia, is there a way to find out if your refund check might have gone astray in the mail?

Or maybe the IRS typically takes its time with those checks? It's been many years since I had one of those but I seem to recall not knowing when to expect it.

Howie, I sent you an e-mail about some information about the stimulus checks. It doesn't say much more than you already knew but since it came from my bank, it had an official look to it--almost as if they were getting serious about those checks.

I hope that this link will work for people. Please let me know if it doesn't. It's an article, "Quarantine Conversation Starters," from today's New Yorker magazine:

    My favorite is this:

:) Andy stopped by on his lunch break and mowed my yard and brought in the garbage can and recycle bins. He brought 3 rolls of toilet pap[er and one roll of paper towels. He said that was the limit at the store. Jeanie :)

I don't remember what it was, but at the store the other day, I saw something that had a limit on the number you could buy. Things at the store should return to normal pretty soon. The food warehouses have the products, but a shortage of people to deliver them.

I have something ordered from Walmart, but it's a 10 plus day waiting period on it to be shipped. And it isn't even a food item. UPS and FedEx are hurting too it seems. These are tough times, but we will get through it.

I'm okay......as long as the cat food holds out!!!

Heaven help you if it doesn't... Someone will have to send in some drones to drop cases of it somewhere nearby.
