    Nayzilam for severe spasm

Nayzilam as a treatment for severe spasm fast
FDA just approved Nayzilam, It is versed in a nasal spray. You spray it in your nose and the spasm stops fast. Its like an emergency agent that can be used anywhere , and by yourself , and without need for refrigeration.

Looking into it with local pharmacy.

I think it has a generic form. As its been out a long time as a syringe application.

Our paramedics used a versed nasal spray with Jonathan in 2012 to stop a major tonic clonic seizure. While the seizure slowed a little, it didn't stop. He was near coding in the ER. He had Ativan IV, which finally stopped the seizure.

At the time, I wanted the versed spray as a rescue drug at home. Our PCP told me that it was only available to medical professionals, because the risk of overdose was fairly great.

Perhaps Nayzilam is an updated version of this spray, more suitable for patients to use safely.

Versed is sedating. It has been used via IV with Jon and Jim prior to certain procedures, such as biopsy or endoscopy. So, it's important to be aware that it can cause drowsiness, particularly when combined with other sedating drugs, like Ativan/Valium.
