ANN, the video makes the tabletop greenhouse project look easy--and there's some interesting cat involvement in it! I hope it works well for you.

:) I made a makeshift mask and have rubber gloves to wear to go vote tomorrow. I just pray no one there is spreading the virus. Stay safe everyone. Voting is Tuesday not today. Jeanie :)

It seems crazy that there is going to be voting in several states tomorrow, Jeanie. I know you’ll be careful and it’s important but is it worth the risk? The risk seems very high.

Virginia, are you OK? How are you faring?

Agate, have they banned visitors from your building. How are you doing?

    Everyone, please check in.

Jeanie, is an absentee ballot possible?

stillstANNding, I'm doing fine but this building has closed all of its common areas as of last week, and we're allowed to have only absolutely essential visitors (only 2 per person at a time). Every visitor has to sign a sign-in sheet that is posted in the entryway.

Supposedly there will be a grocery delivery on Thursday through the delivery service some people (including me) use but I have a feeling that the stores will be out of many items. I understand that Instacart (another option) may be overloaded with orders.

Since many of us here don't go very many places anyway, we may be among the least inconvenienced people. but at least 4 people here (that I know of) are over 90 and so especially vulnerable.

We're all old enough in this building to have lived in a time when people got polio, measles, TB and some died, and some died of flu as well, and you took your chances. But much more is known about preventing the spread of contagious diseases now, I guess.

Howie, I took my car in for inspection last week. I drove just a little over 800 miles in one year. I had a new light fixture put in the front passenger side light. It is amazing how much better it made the car look. I plan to get one for the other side. So....Monday I had to go to Neuro. I was walking out and a lady was right behind me and she looked at my car and said "Oh you have a new car. It is beautiful". I just said thank you and got in it and drove away. I didn't tell her it was 13 years old.

I sent a text to some of my family today and told them I could no longer go to Manchester's, which is a restaurant that is further than the others (still not far). I told them it was causing me to put too many miles on my car. They think I am nuts when I talk like that.

Got a new picture of Tula posing with Dahlia tonight. Daughter is trying to cheer her depressed, worried mother. It did put a smile on my face. Check out the size of Dahlia's head compared to Tula's! Oh my!
