Default Emojis for Win 10 users maybe

Trying out new emojis available if you have Windows 10. If you're in a message window, press Win + . (period) and get a pop up showing emojis.

Didn't we try something like this a while back but it didn't work well? The path to it was different, I think, but the emojis look familiar.

I'll try a few of them and see if they show up:

    🍦🌼🌞🤣

What I'm seeing looks pretty small but I'm seeing 4 emojis.

It should be on your keyboard--the "Windows" key, usually on the bottom row, the key with the "windows" symbol that you'll probably recognize if you have Windows. If you have a Mac, though, you wouldn't have it.

For some reason I'm seeing a series of little black boxes with question marks in them, and I think they mean that you posted several emojis but I'm not sure why I'm not seeing them. Other people may be seeing them.

That Windows key is easy to forget about but can come in handy at times.

Agate, when I hit the enter key all of those little things were emojis, but then they came up like little black things.

I had Windows 10 for about 3 days, and hated it. I switched back to 8.1 where I have been for years, and will have from now on.

Howie, that is a small thing. I like windows 10 and now that I am use to it I would not go back. I fought it for a long time and then Microsoft installed it anyway. Now itís one of the things I am glad they did.

Do you think you might be a little set in your ways?😊

I'd give Windows 10 more of a chance too, Howie. I had to have it even though I swore every which way that I'd never ever give up Win XP. Then the computer gave out, and the freebie I got had Win 10 on it--no choice there. There have been a couple of aggravating things about it but it's far more stable and usable than Win XP, and I've heard it's better than Win 7 and other more recent versions since XP.

It takes a bit of getting used to but not much. And I'm always surprised by how many problems just fix themselves.

Also, Microsoft has an ugly habit of refusing to support earlier versions of Windows. They did that with XP, and they might start in on your version of Windows too. That means you no longer get automatic upgrades, which are important to have.
