Do people with MS have amazing skin?
A neighbor in the laundry room recently told me that everyone she's known with MS has "amazing skin." She said it has a special glow and looks like porcelain.
I've never noticed this particularly.
Thought I'd run it by you here and see if anyone has ever noticed this.

I've never heard that one. I do have "healthy skin", not many wrinkles for my age. One possibility is MSers stay out of the sun most of the time due to heat intolerance. The sun is damaging to your skin.

My friend has amazing skin, but she grew up in a cold climate with no sun. Mine is mottled from sun
I think Howie has nailed it. We probably avoid being out in the sun far more than most people do.
Howie the dentist probably should consider branching out into some other medical field....

My skin looks like a weathered old farmers’ skin. I don’t have wrinkles but my mother did not either. Like her I am 72 and just showing a gray hair or two. Genetics is probably more the determining factor.

Is MS more prevalent in areas, where there is less sun, than where there is abundant sunshine? Could that be a factor, along with avoiding the sun due to heat intolerance?
I may not know what your skin looks like, but I know you are all beautiful.

Even now people often comment on my skin. I don’t think it has anything to do with my MS, it is something that I inherited.
We didn’t have any money so they left me with good skin.😀 I abused it in the sun when I was young, but it didn’t begin to show up until the last year or so and I am elderly. I didn’t know any better about the sun back then.
Rose, I had a brief glimpse of Linda, I think, when she was doing a book review on a PBS news segment, and she does NOT have a "weathered old farmers' skin."
Virginia, my dad's skin was like mine--it never tanned but easily sunburned. On the other hand it didn't ever wrinkle, at least in the face. My arms and legs have a wrinkled look but my face has been spared.
Maybe wrinkles will become the fashion though. You just never know.
I'm waiting for the day when the fashion magazines have models with wrinkles and gray hair on their covers.

I don't know Agate about the gray hair. Just look at Linda she doesn't have gray hair at 72, so looks like she is not going to get it. If I don't get my roots done every 4 weeks I start to freak out.
