I seem to have doctors who are all communicating with each other. The pulmonologist I saw yesterday asked a ton of questions and took a book of notes. Ordered tests. We are narrowing the field to find out what is going on.
    Thanks for remembering.

The inhaler I am using really does help....surprised me. I asked the lung doctor if it would stop my coughing and she said yes. That really surprised me as I associated it with asthma. When I feel better I will read about it.

Itís possible that something that is non asthma is triggering asthmatic reaction. Like when I was dealing with sarcoidosis of the lungs, it triggered asthma. Same with pneumonia.

So I got some nose drops from the lung doctor I saw. I was surprised as I did not realize they were coming. She ordered them Thursday and they arrived through mail order Caremark on Friday!
Between the inhaler and the nose drops I am much better. I have had only 2 serious coughing fits in 2 days and less sneezing etc. the shortness of breath is more noticeable but one of my doctors scheduled an Echo so they are looking at my heart function.

All in all I have had great attention and have hope that this 3 month episode might improve for good. Have started walking in small stretches as my legs are unusually weak. Thinking clearly and doing small jobs around the house. All is better than it was.

That's good news--and your doctor must be really on the ball.
