    Enjoy that coffee, Howie.

I had the MRA and husband bought me a coffee for the vascular surgeon’s waiting room. First look is the same as before or smaller. If radiology agrees, I don’t have to go back for a year!

Thinking of all of you. We are in various levels of suffering, some barely suffering, others in harms way...

We have a grape called Holiday Grape at our fruit stand this time of year. WOnder if its the same as Moon grapes. They are large red, sweet and not much crunchy. Perfect.

BTW You can quarter Brussels sprouts,, halve a bunch of any kind of grape, slather with EVOO as you mix together, turn Sprouts face down, lightly pepper the veggies, splash with wine vinegar or lemon juice or skip that step. Bake 375F for about 25 minutes, until the Brussels sprouts are pretty soft, not burnt, lightly brown edges is okay.

Remove, tent the foil over it for 15 minutes so that the steam finishes soften it.

The grapes create a wonderful counterpoint to the sprouts.

Virginia, the MRA was only 15 minutes. It took longer to change clothes and get the IV. My doc appt is “to follow” MRA so I just go upstairs. It was easy breezy today.

Howie, today is your smart day. Always glad you are back safe.

Nuthatch, I use to fix roasted potatoes out of the little red ones that come in a net like Agate is talking about. All I did was cut them in half, put some olive oil and I either put rosemary or oregano (I canít remember which). I baked them in the oven until done. Didnít take long. They were great. I canít remember putting onion or garlic salt on them, though I might have. Everyone loved them.

Sunshine, I have been lucky enough to get the Holliday grapes two or three times this year. I love them, but they are not available except for a very short period of time.

They are not the same as the Moon Drop grapes, which are dark and almost black in color. They are oblong shaped, kind of like a bullet. I like them also, but not around long either.

So far I've been steaming a few of them for about 15 minutes, then cutting them up a bit, putting a bit of butter on top and sprinkling on quite a lot of pepper, paprika, and a little salt.

Yesterday I received a couple of new draftguards for my doors. The front door needs to have something under it to block the noise from the hall. I live right by the elevator and the public restrooms, and there are people talking loudly (because so many are hard of hearing) and dogs barking. As I was putting the new draftguard in place, I had to get down on the floor. My back managed to go out again, and now it's only half-fixed while I wait for my back to calm down. Then I can down there again and tinker with it.

The other new draftguard was a dream to install as it has built-in magnets and just stuck it to the door, which happens to be metal. That's an important draftguard as without it, cold air streams into the bedroom.

That's what I've been doing aside from laundry on Monday and Wednesday. I've been taking the trash out every day or at least every other day.
