:) My dear friend in Cleveland always grew sunflowers. I miss him a lot. When I had my nursing graduation pinning ceremony he brought me a sunflower to carry. I have photos of that day with my sunflower. I loved wearing the full nurses uniform and cap and I think today's nurses are missing that self esteem building. Jeanie :)

    Nice story Jeanie :)
Today’s world is that the certified med assistants are referred to as “nurses” which I think is disrespectful to RNs...

Today I swam 1/2 mile, 26 minutes. I felt brave. My shins and feet have been very spasmy and don’t even like to walk with rollator the 15 steps to the pool...

I just finished picking all the sweet peppers I could while John and a friend picked Italian flat beans and haricot verts. Freeze warnings for tonight.

If Linda is not too tired maybe she will come on and tell us about her day at the Farmer's Market.

In the meantime, my step count for September averaged 1,269 steps/day (figured for 30 days).

Agate, you have been going, going, going. Those are really good numbers to average for a month.
