Default Rituxan used as aggressive rescue treatment for 12-year-old with MS

This case seems pretty remarkable to me. MS is rare in children, and so I wondered if he might have had something other than MS, but if he has had MS, Rituxan seems to have worked well for him--though only 2 years have passed. From PubMed, "Rituximab as aggressive rescue therapy for pediatric multiple sclerosis" (July 21, 2019):

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6679848/

Discussion of it here in Multiple Sclerosis News Today (August 23):

I found this surprising (from the article in MS News Today):

Almost 1 in 10 MS patients has a history of disease onset as a child.

Yes! I now understand several incidents from 6th grade, 10th grade and probably more. I wonder sometimes how those incidents which I did not share with anyone shaped the person I am. I must have learned early how to compensate for embarrassing slips of mind and body.
