Today I swam 1/2 mile in 25 minutes. That last minute was unwise. Will be more careful. And forgot to take my asthma rescue inhaler, another mistake, but no consequences. Went to grocery store, baked some chicken, will make DH lunch for Thurs and friday. Resting otherwise today.

I’ve been doing neighborhood walking, airport walking hospital walking and stair climbing. I need to do my PT homework, though. Gotta get on that. I still have very little muscle to sit on.

What type of exercise do you do to build up your seat muscles?

I didn't know seat muscles could be built up. Mine have been pretty much gone since about 1983 or so. Probably one reason I can't sit very long anywhere except in the superduper-special cushion on my wheelchair.

    More step counts:

    7/23 - 1110 steps
    7/24 - 1280 "
    7/25 - 1297 "
    7/26 - 1557 "
    7/27 - 1171 "
    7/28 - 1015 "
    7/29 - 1003 "
    i don't trip--I do random gravity checks.

    For strength:
    Sit to stands
    Glute bridge with hamstring curl
    Glute bridge w exercise ball
Glute bridge, banded (I don’t remember what this one is)
    Front step ups
    Side step ups
    Banded side steps
    Clamshells
