    Grocery list written
    Bed linens changed, laundry done--
    My long busy day

    I hope grocery has 2 syllables. I didn't look it up.

    There's no need to be overly fussy about these haiku efforts, IMO. I wonder if some people aren't trying it because they think it has to be perfect, or else the Haiku Police will ride in on horseback and go after them.

    Scary July 4!
    Mom to Jon, 49, (seizure disorder; Gtube; trache; colostomy; osteoporosis; hypothyroid; enlarged prostate; lymphedema, assorted mysteries) and Michael, 32, (intractable seizures; Gtube), who were born with an undiagnosed progressive neuromuscular disease and courageous spirits. Our Angel Michael received his wings in 2003. Our Angel Jon received his wings April 2019. Now, they watch over Jim and me.

    Moths don't dare come near.

    When I went looking for ways to prevent moth damage without mothballs, I found several places advising the freezer method. This Wikihow site recommends storing wool items in the freezer for a few days rather than 24 hours but some "experts" say 24 hours should do it. See item #7 in the list:
