Today I swam 862 yards in 24 minutes. Last night I had an ankle spasm at 3 am lasted 10 seconds, fired up again a moment later for 10 seconds. Settled down...
Yesterday I took Ativan to get a break from the painful stiffness, it really helped,I was walking a lot more. A lot more.Like I had been up to about 6 weeks ago.

Wow! Sixty-two extra yards today! Great!

I am glad you have the Ativan as such a useful tool.

Sunshine, so great. That is the most you have swam in a long time. Glad to see you doing this.

This morning I swam 1/2 mile in 25 minutes. I think I will stop by 24 minutes for now on.
Last night I had 2 ankle spasms around 3am.Bummer.

Doc visit and grocery shopping after the swim. Then cook and clean up the dishes. Lots of resting in between.

Today was a very low humidity day here. What a difference it made. I did something I have not done in many, many months, maybe close to a year. I washed hair, got dressed and drove to shopping center to Belk's Dept. Store. I walked over quite a bit of the ground floor and stopped at six counters to check out with items. Then I came home and brought them in the house and went to meet family for dinner. We went to a restaurant close to me. I left there and went to the store to get Peg's family a card. I could have written a note, but hands do not work well enough to write that much, so with the card I can write less. I am very beat.

    Tomorrow is hair day.

Congratulations to Sunshine and Ann, who both have had quite a good workout this week-end.
Isn’t it amazing Virginia that suddenly you can do something that was impossible the. Day before. That happens to me a lot and I am always happy when it happens. I have given up trying to figure out why but just yesterday and the day before I worked more hours each day than I had been able to for a while. And even this morning I woke up feeling alert and happy.

Feeling happy is a nice benefit to movement.

Today I swam 22 minutes, 800 yards. Stopped, as I had planned to do yesterday after the 1/2 mile extended swim.
