Default Keep on Moving: May 2019

MS creates some real challenges to keep on moving. It helps to inspire each other on how to find ways to move.

Did you stretch in your bed, swing your arms, roll side to side today? Or perhaps you did housework? Or exercised in a pool? Tracked your count of steps? Chased your cat around the home? Pushed the wheelchair wheels with your arms at the store? Post them here and we can support and egg each other on.

REMEMBER: this is a keep on moving thread, not keep on exercising! Any moving is important— it doesnt have to be “exercise”!

We could def write something similar about “surfing” or any movement at all, as middle to golden years MS people.

The rest of the day has been overwhelming. I underestimated the work in getting ready, finding the stuff, remembering it, making lists, packing up meds for car and for beach, packing up the car with all the gear. I am beat. If it were today, I would have to bail. Let’s see how I feel in the morning.

DH was not home today, doing his hobby. He didn’t get to see the collapse...mental and physical. Just too much to think about, worry about, Gotta do some meditation.

    Cool

He's an actor, probably playing a tough guy. He looks very different in that commercial.

This is super impressive, Peg! And doing this in the morning is smart. I tend to put off exercise until late in the day because somehow just about everything else needs to be done first.
