No. I don’t think so at all. Stay the course: One spray each nostril daily. Start Allegra (not AllegraD) or Claritin daily. If allergies still bad, call doc and ask if you can start Singulair.

I am assuming allergies are to pollen for you? If you are unsure, get allergy testing. My chief allergies are dust mites: Microscopic bugs that you cant see but are in dust, mattresses, bedding, carpets, drapes. You cover the pillow and mattress with zip up allergy free casings. You get rid of carpets and drapes in your bedroom.

Vacuuming without a hepa filter spews dust all over the air. Do it early in the day so it has a chance to settle in your bedroom. If you don’t have rugs, you dont have to vacuum your bedroom: Just sweep it or mop it. Etc.

Re Dizzyness, go online and read up on Epley Maneuver for Benign Positional Vertigo. Its effective if your dizzyness is due to BPPV.

    Which nasal spray is it?
This is what i take for allergies (yr round): Fluticasone nasal spray, Allegra, Singulair.

I think your NA is not such a great provider? Dizziness from allergies? Never heard that one...
Just what I was thinking about the dizziness/allergy connection.....if I have congestion I take a swig od DayQuil...and I clear almost instantly. Unlike its partner NYQuil...it does not make us sleepy at all. We have both been using it in this very high pollen season.

    Cool

I just got back from a bank and store run. I go before it gets hot, and will stick with that schedule the rest of the Summer. I got everything to make pasta, but bought 2 compleat's dinners so I won't have to cook today, and maybe tomorrow.

And of course, I got Sam her sliced turkey!

    Everyone have a great day!

The nasal spray being used is Flonase. Singulair is not something I would suggest except as a final option after all else has been tried. It took us 2 years to find the right combo of antihistamine, decongestant and OTC nasal sprays for David. The Singulair delivers steroid which may not be needed and could be more harmful in the long run than helpful.

David is rebuilding the split rail fence in our main garden and having a blast. I am staying out of the way.

Thanks everyone for chiming in re allergy drugs. I am thinking I should see my Doctor because the pollen is pretty much gone, and if I can't see her I might ask for an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist to check the dizziness.

My brother picked me up this evening and took me out close to where they live to a restaurant and we ate there. There were 7 of us. My middle brother and his wife, my younger brother and his wife and my niece and her husband, plus me.

They told me that next week we are going to younger brother's house since it is their daughter's birthday. Same brother that picked me up tonight chimed in quickly that the would pick me up. I wish this was not the case as it is more than a two hour drive for him both ways. Had I known about the birthday party I would have skipped this week-end.

We decided to change the Copaxone dosing to twice a week because I need a break and I am running out of sites but it works very well for me.

    ANN
ANN, my neuro actually said she thought I might be stable because copaxone isn't given out based on weight, so thinner people might be benefiting more because they are receiving more per pound than a heavier person.

This might be one time your weight loss is helping? I too dose a few days/week. Sometimes you just need a break in order to remain compliant.

    Great report!

Virginia, the weather is nicer now, so maybe he enjoys the drives to pick/drop you off? A nice time to chit chat with his sis? They clearly want to include you for him to offer to pick you up! I'd just go with it, have a great time...maybe surprise him with a 'thank you' favorite treat of his?

Suze-Q, if I try to reciprocate in any way he would pitch a fit with "why did you do that? You didn't need to do anything for me", etc. If it was just one trip I would not feel so bad, but he has to turn around and bring me home and then go back home himself. They do want me, but I need to be independent and be able to rely on myself.
