The gut problem is still unknown but may be a vascular thing. I have a primary care visit next Wednesday. (I couldn’t just have a week without a medical something).

    Who is grumpy cat?

ANN, great news on both the MRI and decreased injections.

Brother Neil now has 7 day a week nurses for dressing changes and has moved to a daily IV antibiotic from the every 8 hour one. Also on a couple of new meds and seems to have calmed a bit. At least I have not been getting almost daily calls from siblings that live near him.

Just plain no energy the past few weeks.

The link in my earlier post may not be working for you, Cherie. I used up my 10 free page views at the New York Times regularly and then get no more for a month. That may be why you couldn't get to the page. Or maybe you didn't notice it.

Grumpy Cat seems to be one of the names for this cat, whose image you may have seen on the Internet at one time or another:

    I have a crucial question:

I am buying another toaster oven. Mine is old, and works well. But, during hurricanes, and power loss, My cooktop and oven are not on the generator. My fridge is, as is a/c/ and lights...

So, I want to be sure I have a working toaster oven back up.

Seems like most of them are convection nw.

QUESTION: If I get a toaster oven convection, can I still use it the regular non convection way to bake casseroles , etc?

I'm not up on convection ovens either but I did look into toaster ovens about a year ago, when mine looked as if it might need replacing, and I found quite a few of them that were not convection ovens. It sounds as if there are reasons why you're opting for the toaster oven/convection oven combo though.

The cooks here who use convection ovens are probably dealing with their convection ovens just now but should be here shortly.

Actually, Sunshine after all that research you, Agate and others did for me I still did not get one. All the ones I wanted seemed to be convection and I did not want to learn anything new at that time (still don't). Maybe one of these days for me. Another thing is that I didn't want to take up my counter space.

Cherie, glad to hear news of Neil is a little better. Maybe you can relax a little bit.

Ann, nice to hear that MRIs turned out so well and that you are able to take less Copaxone. Like you I am out of sites, but in my case I am afraid to cut back. If I could get to my arms I would have enough sites, but just can't do it.

Howie, I was sorry to hear about Grumpy Cat. Actually, he is a pretty cat.

My Nephew is on vacation in Aruba and got word that his dog, a chocolate lab, had died. He is heartsick. He told me on FB that it has been a rough 24 hours. The dog traveled with him everywhere. He had had him for 12 years. I hated to hear it. He was a very big dog and my Nephew also has a very small female dog. He protected her and they were pals. She also travels with him. I don't know why he died.

Macy's has a plain old Black and Decker Toaster oven (not convection) for about $30.

My sister Jean (the one who lives near me of the 6 sibs) (the one with the brain tumor) fell today and broke her shoulder and arm. I suspect my days will be more full with helping her for the next couple of weeks till my next travel.

MS Foundation called today and have scheduled me for programs in the following areas:

    July 16 Milwaukee , WI
    August 12 Buffalo, NY
September 9 Harriman, NY (near Poughkeepsie)

Let me know if you need details or want to be put on an invite list or have a friend in those areas added. All will be dinner meetings and I will be the only speaker. No drugs plugged...just helpful hints on how to live with a better quality of life with MS. My story, my life, my professional take on all of this.
