    Cool

Virginia, I think you're right about not sleeping before a doctors visit. And I KNOW I never sleep before payday. But can I stay awake for 2 days and nights in a row? I have been sleepy feeling all day.

Oh, and I called CVS today, to tell them I had 4 different sized, larger size, of one of my meds. So she wanted me to bring the whole bottle by so they could check it out. Someone might get fired I think. The person who refilled it is right on the label.

The Outer Limits they have shown so far were 2 of the OLD black and white, and 2 I've seen not long ago. Oh well, at least it's Sci-Fi. I like horror and Sci-Fi, and not much else. Well, a comedy if well written.

    Okay, back to TV!

Too cold to kayak yet and snow still on some of the trails so he may just have to use the gym in the Clubhouse this trip since we have so little time.

Snow? Oh no! Meant to post this yesterday, for May Day. ( It will be 2 days late when most of you see it due to time differences!)
    Happy Belated May Day!

Only a 3.5 but centered just 6 miles west of here. Not bad. Each quake is different, this was a fairly loud boom followed by shaking. We have several pocket doors and they rattle in the shaking. Unfortunately there may be more to follow, maybe larger or smaller. It's gonna be a long nervous night!

That must be unnerving, Nuthatch. Thank you for the poppies.

Howie, good luck with your shopping and CVS.

    Hi Nuthatch,
How have the hours been since the first jolt.? The weather extremes we are having are humbling....earthquakes, heat, rain...all these extremes form the shadows that flicker through the days...and make me think!

nuthatch, never a dull moment, eh? Hope there won't be any more of those earthquakes. Do you have furniture bolted to the wall? I've heard that that's recommended but I haven't done it.

The one substantial earthquake I was in, everything was swaying but no pieces of furniture actually moved and nothing broke but there were cracks in some older buildings and sidewalks nearby.

Oddly enough, I found that Dutch oven in one of my kitchen cabinets had developed a big crack in it. I'm pretty sure the earthquake must have caused it. It was enamel on cast iron.

    Cool

Ann, I just got in from my SECOND store trip. The second is to get the things I forgot the first time. I made a list for the second trip because I didn't feel like it the first trip out.

Probably because I went to CVS and got the pill mix up straightened out. Plus I went to the hardware store for some Gorilla tape. It's like duct tape, but much stickier.

So now I'm in for the day, bills mailed off, and sitting in front of the AC.

    Have a great afternoon!

Howie, what was the cause of the pill mix up?
