I’ve been running myself down since Mom went to the hospital two weeks ago and I started packing. I’ve walked around airports, the hospital, stores and this neighborhood. This particular street is a big loop and is the “walking street” of the plan.

I’ve done most of the food prep, cleaning and eight loads of laundry. Peter did some food, a little laundry and any ironing that was done. He also got up two of the three days he was here to let me sleep in. Bless him.

Tomorrow is reverse airports and then I am done for a while.

You have literally run yourself ragged ANN. What a good family you have and you nurture...

Today I swam 736 yards in 21 minutes. Should’ve gone extra, but got distracted by DH request to examine the pool jets air flow...

Today I swam 737 yards in 22 minutes. It felt wonderful :)

Reading Howie’s post in chit chat, I would say he did a lot of moving around too...

    Cool

Sunshine, I have my days, but much of my time is spent sitting on the bed, watching TV. But you swim everyday. I wish I had a pool.

As a kid, we lived right across from a swim club, and in the Summer, that's where I practically lived. Swimming is GREAT exercise.

Yesterday I saw the MMJ doc so couldn’t swim.
Today I swam 22 minutes, 737 yards. I swim between 6:30 and 7:00am. So early docs pretty much can the swim that day.

    Great going Sunshine!

Today, I got dressed and went to K-Mart to pick up medicine, then to a place where I ordered some compression knee-hi's, to see if they help with swelling, then to Costco to pick up more medicine, then to Harris Teeter to do grocery shopping. I bought lots of stuff and when I got home it took 3 trips to get it in the house. Then, I went to Panera to get something to eat for tonight. I am still having dizzy spells, but not while I am driving because my head is held straight and I am not looking up any of the time. However, the dizziness is really taking a toll on my exercise. I just can't do it without getting dizzy.

I had not gotten my mail since the week-end, so I had quite a lot. I sitting opening it when some of the fingers on my left hand began to draw like it was going to paralyze. It really scared me a lot. I grabbed it with my right hand and it straightened out. Guess it was just one of those weird things.

Sounds like a spasm Virginia. They are painful and weird for sure.

Cut yourself some slack: you did ALOT. Exercise will be with you in a few days after you regain some strength...in the meantime you moved ALOT.

Today I swam 800 yards in 24 minutes. Felt good. Had an ankle spasm at 2 am that settled down quickly, so I chanced it. DH was home.

Seem to be faring a bit better since last IVIG.

Sunshine, isn't 800 yards a record for you?
