That's such a relief that Jeanie was okay with it, and thanks for the update, agate!

Sunshine, my thought exactly. The surgery couldn't have been very long ago. I wonder what is going on.

    ((((((Hugs to All)))))) ~

Thank you for the update, agate.

I think Jeanie means "debride" instead of "febrile." Unfortunately, it sounds to me like she does have an infection. I hope that she is receiving excellent care.

Continuing prayers and healing energy on the way to you, Jeanie, with lots of hugs and love.

Rose, I'm sure she meant "debride" too. Thank you for clearing that up!

    Another message from Jeanie:

I don't think she wants her actual address posted on this board but if she does, I'll do that.

Yes, t sounds like a bad break -- one that broke through the skin on her leg, exposing the break to the outside (my break was entirely internal). And now infected. It also appears she is flat on her back, so communication is trouble some. Since she lives at home, I think that will probably come to an end -- managing with a broken leg is very difficult, alone. Maybe she can move in with one of her sons? A tough position to be in, literally and figuratively...

Jeanie, that sounds just horrible. I hope your son is able to keep an eye on the docs and nurses providing care...as well as you: you are a very smart and assertive woman, so I bet you are doing your part.

I hope your Church is aware so they can give you Communion and provide a connection for you...

The pain sounds awful. Are they giving you pain meds at least?

Maybe one of her sons could stay with her at night until she gets better. I know they both would be working, so it would take someone else to be with her in the daytime.

I don't know what the possibility of that is. Andy I think has steps and Jim lives further away with his wife I think. I am not sure about steps there. Jeanie's house does not have any steps.

Right now I am just concerned about her getting better.

Not sure if she had a compound fracture (one that breaks through the skin) or of she was talking about another roadblock but I have to believe that since she has had surgery, she is in the road to recovery ((Please Lord...) and is seeing some improvement. Hoping and praying all is going as planned.
