    ((((((Jeanie)))))) ~

Sending you so much love and healing prayers!

Jeanie, please ask your nurse to remove and replace your catheter. Maybe it just needs to be reinserted. She should deflate the balloon, sterilize the cath and lubricate it, then reinsert it, then refill the balloon. Make sure that they use a sterile Foley Catheter Tray to do anything with your catheter.

Are you wearing a leg band, or is tape being used to hold your cath in place?

Also, your catheter needs to be replaced every month. Don't let them go past a month, Jeanie. I don't want you to get a UTI.

You are surrounded by love and prayers. I hope you feel our group hug and our positive, healing energy.

    Love & Light,

    Rose

She's referring to the link to this thread, which I sent her yesterday. Not sure I understand some of this but maybe others will. Typing must be quite difficult for her.

    Thumbs up

But she still makes the effort. She's a strong willed woman, and will get through these tough times I have no doubt.

This forum clearly means a lot to her--since she's willing to take the trouble to type messages even when typing must be next to impossible.

We as a group matter to one another here.
