I'll often complain about items that I really like that aren't in the store anymore. Occassionally...very ocassionally, they'll get it back...

Sounds like you had a wonderful time, Jeanie!

Glad you're treating yourself to a personal gift, Howie!

Sunshine, so sorry about the spasms, I wonder if your IVIG schedule could be changed so you're getting it more frequently if it's wearing off early. Laz went every 3 weeks for hers, I think.
I started out once a month on IVIg. Then we switched to every other week. I was getting 70g each time. Each bottle is 10g and it takes about an hour a bottle.so, for me it was always an 8 hour day..

New England won the superbowl! The VERY FIRST football game I have ever watched was Superbowl two years ago when they won. This was not an easy game and one of our team was injured enough to totally sideline him and another to need medical care throughout the 3rd and 4th quarters but he kept playing. All of them...on both sides...will be hurting tomorrow I have no doubt.

Note: In New England No Piggly Wigglies and no Krogers. Stop and Shop, Price Chopper, Hannaford and Market Basket.

Hi Cheri, there is also Star Market, Fresh Market, Wegman’s, and the Big Y groceries. I am not counting Wholefoods, Trader Joe’s, Aldi’s or Walmart. They are useful for somethings but may lack others.

Ultrasound is over. Tech reviewed it with a radiologist and then told me there would be a full report by the end of the day and “there’s nothing to lose sleep over.” I am very grateful for those words!

    Thumbs up

That's good news Ann, and we need more people like that tech in the medical profession. To go out of their way to comfort a patient.

Well, I went to my doctor's office this morning, but never saw the doctor. They just did a blood panel. Is she just desperate to find SOMETHING wrong with me. Or they like the easy Medicare money. I just had a blood panel!

    Everyone have a great day!

Howie, “lab visits” where you do not see the doctor are common.

Howie, I'm OK with going to the doctor's office just for a blood panel. I do that at least twice a year. I do have to go back to discuss the blood panel with the doctor but at least someone who knows more than I do is keeping tabs on what's going on with me.

This just proves that I'm trying hard to be the Ideal Patient--I think the word used in the medical world is "compliant." I try hard to be compliant and figure the powers-that-be will be nicer to me if I keep on being nice to them and seeming to accept whatever they want. "Time to come in for a blood panel," they say. "OK! Perfectly fine! I'm looking forward to it!" I chirp in reply.

ANN, I'm so glad that the tech said something helpful. I also hope that the experts will find a fix for you so you can eat more.
