Default OT...huge storm headed right for us! Oh no!

The predicted storm MAY drop more than a foot and/or some may be half an inch of freezing rain. It will be wet heavy snow. I just want to bury my head and pray for a Prince Charming with a plow to spend an hour or two pushing it away.

We have plows but the artic blast of freezing temps along with wet snow that is impossible to deal with has my blood pressure on the rise. The only hope is oo pray for the line of the storm to move away from the northern CT/MA line. Boo hiss.

Warm sunshine needs to be headed your way at once.🌞 That snow that turns into ice and then back to snow is very difficult to deal with.

Forecasts can be very wrong though.

I would view it like a hurricane. What is your plan if you lose power for days to stay warm? Do you have a generator? A huge pile of logs and wood burning stove.

Otherwise, I would be inclined to evacuate. At least when we lose power it is WARM outside and inside.

What a rough thing coming your way—-

Last year I had a huge generator installed that comes on immediately when power goes out and it powers everything here...our house and two big greenhouses and one medium sized greenhouses. Whew! Two other unseated greenhouses are storage buildings now and they could collapse under a lot of weight. Fingers crossed!

In the big city we are supposed to get 6-8 inches of snow followed by ice and wind. Both Sunday and Monday nights are forecast to be just 5 degrees. Linda is still in the big snow. Usually I would check Hudson, MA for Vicky. She is missed.

Oh Ann, I had Vicky on my mind one day this week and I thought I really do miss her. Amazing, I never met her, but I miss her.
