I went to MIL’s for tea and then to Trader Joe’s. After that they brought me home. Then they went to lunch and 4 stores. I was glad to not have to do all of that.

Looks as if stillstANNding and Virginia are tied for the number of stores they went to today: 4 each by my count.

Very careless reading on my part! Sorry, stillstANNding, about my mistake. Sorry, too, that you aren't tied for 1st place in the store-visiting category.

She should have come to my house and gone with me. Then she could have walked through K-Mart, Home Depot, Harris Teeter and Panera. The crowds were unbelievable everywhere I went today and traffic was also. Everyone getting out while they can ahead of the snow I guess.

I think you're right--they were stocking up. In Chicago when there was a blizzard coming on, there might soon be very little left on the grocery store shelves because everybody rushed in to stock up on milk and other items.

Hope you won't get hit hard, Virginia. Same goes for Howie.

Today I walked around the pet supply store including stooping to get some cans of food on low shelves. Peter gets the high ones. ;-)

Then I walked around a large grocery store that we don’t usually go to.

At home, Peter did some laundry and I got it out of the dryer and folded it and brought it up to the first floor.

And I sorted about forty books.

Ann, that is great. Sorting about 40 books is enough for one day - at least for me.

And I went up and took a lavender bath and came back down for a sliver of pumpkin pie and tea. Later, I have to go back up. It’s been a good day. I’m not cured or anything but not suffering today and not scared. That’s big. Anyway, lots of exercise.
