    Smile

:) Christmas stress is real. I can hardly rise from sitting even after all my sit/stands. My right knee (my good leg) hurts on the outside when I stand and it is painful enough to make me sit quickly. I did my final grocery shopping tonight and got the fruit for the stockings. 3 friends and family will make 8 at dinner and for stockings on the 23rd.

I have never even heard of Snickerdoodles. What are they?

I had a call tonight from a friend in Jacksonville's nephew. My friend passed away this week and he found my number in her black book after receiving my Christmas card. I am losing about 6 friends a year. Getting old is not for sissies. Jeanie :)

Losses are hard Jeanie and when they come around the Holidays it just makes everything more stressful.

I hope you get some rest between now Sunday. I know it will be fun and you will be glad you did it, but that is also stressful.

Peg, I wonder if you are getting so close to next infusion that maybe you will get a lift out of it after you get it. I hope so. I also suffer from insomnia, and that really drags us down.

Snickerdoodles are a fairly buttery cookie with a touch of cinnamon:

Agate, thanks. I didn't know what they were either. I guess you get them in the cookie isle, but maybe I better not try them. They might be too good for my good!

Today I swam 1/4 mile plus dragging off and pulling back in the cover. 49F air and 81F pool st 10:15 am. It was genius to put a hot shower insteps from the pool outside. Inthe cold air it’s a life saver. So far have swum daily four days in a row.

Virginia, you bake your own Snickerdoodles. Look in a Betty Crocker cookbook.

Sunshine, this is wonderful news. You are in there still doing and that is a lot. Just try to keep it up.

Ann, how could you tell me this - I didn't want to know how to get them. Everyone talks like they are so good.
