Congratulations on the new non-job job, Cherie. Sounds very interesting.

I had a cardiac cath for “ischemia or artifact.” They did not tell me that it might be artifact, which it was.

    Cool

Cherie, I'm right behind you, turning 65 in a few more days. How did I get this old?

My EKGs always seem to have artifact and there is a familial ST elongation that in some folks is indicative of a problem but never has been in my Dad or two sisters or one brother or me. I love that this guy is being responsible and cautious about what is ordered, and why and what it will do to change the outcome for the better. He told me that (my nephrologist who is treating my hypertension) had told him I was a "joyful conundrum" because my case and care were complicated but I was a wonderful historian who would help make sense of the puzzle. That is affirmation.

    Howie, Happy almost birthday.

Cherie, sounds like an exciting new job for you. I am sure you are being asked to do all these things because of your expertise in many areas and your experience.

Does sound like you found yourself a good Cardiologist who is willing to listen and to think things through.

    Cool

I got up early. I woke up at 5, then after trying to go back to bed, I finally just got up, and hit the store as soon as they opened. I got loaded up with food both for Sam, and myself.

I have a crew of 4 here that have cleaned and scoured the house for the past three hours. They are closing in on the final room. I have washed all the slip covers, towels, mats from the bathroom and boot/shoe storage as well as the dresser scarves and runners. Last three room of curtains are down and waiting to go in the washer. Next Monday the cleaners come back to steam clean the dining room carpet that was in the room with the worst damage and I am treating myself to having them clean a couch and chair that have been slip-covered due to stains. Insurance is paying for the dining room rug to be done and the crew of 4 today.

Yes, ANN. What did YOU eat?
Agate, today I had a third of an Orgain protein bar and a cup of tea for breakfast. I did not feel well after that so I just sipped water and had 2 saltines until 3 PM. Then I had some cheese, prosciutto and 4 saltines. This was very satisfying. For a late supper I had a poached eggs w real bacon bits sprinkled on top. At 9:30 we had tea. Thatís it.
