    Cool

Good day all. I've had an exciting day so far. I had to drop by my doctor's office so they could take my BP. I thought it would be in and out...QUICK! But I had to wait on a nurse to call me in. It was maybe a 10 minute wait.

Well she took my BP, and looked at me oddly, and told me the only place I was going was to the emergency room, my BP was off the scale, and the emergency room was my next stop.

So the ambulance showed up, rolled me out on a gurney, and off we went. They put me straight on a bed, and they injected me, took blood, x-rayed me, and was on a table with a doctor directing everything.

I had them call my sister, and I was actually able to give them her number from memory. Brain don't fail me now. She showed up while I was just lying on a gurney with tubes hooked in both arms.

On one arm, was an automatic BP cuff that would inflate about every 15 minutes, and once it got down low enough, they let me go. I got scripts for 3 new meds, and have already picked them up from CVS.

    It's good to be home.

    So how was your day?

Oh, Howie, I am so glad you stopped in for the blood pressure check! What an eventful day. Glad you are on new meds for this problem.

Howie, my day was not as exciting as yours, and quite frankly I don't want it to be.

You continue to surprise me. You stopped in for a BP check - that is great. I am thankful you did and got some care right away. Maybe with the new meds you will begin to feel really good. At least I hope that you do.

Thanks for checking in with the hens so that we know what is going on. Great going on remembering your sister's phone number - and under stress at that.

    Thumbs up

Thanks Ann. You know I almost didn't go? But I talked myself into it because I thought if I went in early, the day would be mine. I'm glad I went!

Quite a few suffering people here. I hope those who've been having bad times will be feeling better. Soon!

Hmm, sounds as if there are some of those mother hens right in your own back yard. You just can't get way from them!
