    Cool

    What's that clucking sound?

It feels good to be missed, but it DOESN'T feel good to be without power for a week. But I'm back now, and the power outage I'm sure had something to do with Sam, but I can't prove it!

    ((((((Howie)))))) ~

So happy to see your post!!!

We hens were mighty worried about you! And with good reason. Did your home sustain any damage? What happened to your food without power?

Sam is in control of the weather, eh? Maybe it's time to have a little chat with her.

    So glad you're okay.

Sam should be ashamed of herself. Bad kitty! That's enough with the hurricanes for now, Sam.

Maybe Sam had second thoughts about all of those cats and dogs, and decided that a hurricane would be ever so much more dramatic.

Hey, Howie, it's good to see you back. How did you and Sam fare without power? It's not at all good to be out of power for a week. Did you lose a lot of food? Do you have homeowners insurance? If so, you might be able to make a claim... And tell Sam that hurricanes are not fun!

    Thumbs up

Cat, I kept bags of ice in the fridge, then get more after 2 days, so I ate sliced ham and cheese, and coleslaw. I also had chips and crackers, but actually didn't have much of an appetite.

For entertainment, I bought batteries for a transistor radio I have, and I have a "boom-box" that plays CDs. But it was my computer I missed the most.
