Thanks Agate. I signed up and it says it is at 4pm today. I'll see if it informs me it's starting.

Hmm. It starts at 5 PM for me, or at least that's what it says, and yet I think Howie is in a part of the world that is 3 hours ahead of where I am.

I tried to start the Webinar but when there was a message telling me "This type of file could harm your computer," I chickened out. It was a download of something called GoToWebinar. Computer problems are hard to deal with--I didn't feel like taking the risk. Maybe the Webinar will have a transcript available later.

    Thumbs down

Well, I registered earlier, and the webinar started at 8. I didn't get a notice, and don't know how to get in, so I just deleted the whole site. Humpf!!!

Looks as if most of it, maybe all of it, will be available later in archived form. I'll be on the lookout for it.

I listened to the CanDo-MS.org part. The part where Dr. Ben Thrower was on. When the Natl. Multiple Sclerosis Soc came on with their part I quit. I was so tired. I think I have been sitting here at the computer for close to 1 1/2 hours.

Dr. Thrower talked mostly on the drugs that are out there. He spent quite a bit of time on Stem Cell Therapies and the difference in them, etc. It was worth listening to because the first two questions that were asked pertained to me. Someone asked about older people being on DMTs and his answer was that if their immune system was good then there was no reason for them not to be. He didn't say which ones might be better for older people. He did advocate if a person was older and had been doing well on their DMT, if they came off it they might begin to show decline. There was another question, but I can't remember what it was. If there is a print-out I would like to see it.

Thanks for letting me know about this webinar.

Virginia, thank you for the summary of the webinar. Most of us tried, but couldn't get in to hear it.
