I am in a foul mood. My left leg has been stretching and pulling all day and I mean really bad, much worse than usual. I don't like it when these new symptoms pop up. It scares me to death.

I went out to meet family. Both brothers are buying new houses in a town south of Raleigh. I will be the only one left here, but that is alright. I don't see that much of them anyway. Just Sunday dinners once a week. Anyway, all I heard was house talk and I expect it to go on and on. They will be moving sometime this summer. They will be living (if I understand correctly) in the same neighborhood. One of them has a daughter and her husband who bought a house in that neighborhood. I am sure they are very nice, but I do not like the overall area they are going into.

Hi folks, I am in recovery mode after having our daughter and granddaughter here, staying with us last week. I had great fun racing Tula up and down the long, wide hallway on the scooty-bike we keep here for the grandkids. I probably put twenty miles on my wheelchair, but how could I resist a toddler shouting " Common Nana, race me!!!" She was so much fun and has changed so much since Christmas, when we last saw her in person. Kids her age are absolute sponges, interested in everything, learning new things every day. We kept busy planting seeds, painting, making imaginary food with play dough, cooking and serving it, watching birds in the fountain, ect.

Now I must rest up for round two, when our son and family come up from San Diego For Father's Day weekend. Looking forward to that!

Sorry to hear your leg is acting up, Virginia. Glad to hear Peg is on the mend.

    Virginia,
So sorry that your mood has been dampened and the weekly Sunday dinners look to be coming to an end.

    Nuthatch,
    What cute kids!

I slipped and fell in my kitchen on May 23, ending up with a concussion, amnesia, and 6 staples. This has lead to lots of sleeping and minimal computer/mobile phone use as per doctor's orders. I also had to drop out of the online college classes I started at the beginning of May.

    Cute kiddos, Nuthatch.

Oh, no, Jendie, so sorry you were hurt and are in recovery mode. Too bad about the schooling. I hope you can re-enroll.

I am really sorry Jendie that you had such a fall. I just hope you will mend completely and fully. Then maybe you can once again concentrate on returning to school.

Nuthatch, those two kids are the greatest. The big blue eyes really get me. Tula has grown so much.

What a shame, Jendie! That sounds like a severe injury that will take time and more time to deal with. I'm so sorry this had to disrupt your plans. Re-enrolling at a later time as ANN suggested sounds like an excellent idea. Many places offer the same courses each term or once a year--maybe with different instructors but essentially the same courses. Hope your class will be like that.

nuthatch, your grandkids would charm anyone! Looks as if the girl has lucked out with naturally curly hair too.

Virginia, that is a lot to deal with. Are you using muscle relaxers? Can you call your neurologist. You need not suffer like that.

Jendie, what a scary fall. And the no phone rule sounds tough too. Who found you? Or did you do it on your own?

    Cute babies nuthatch!
