Agate, I usually ask you what you did on the high day. This time, what was going on or how did you feel on the 841 step day?

    ANN
Virginia guessed it! That was the day when I went to the DMV. Even though the process there took only 40 minutes, a record short time for me and the DMV, I had the usual waits for transportation, and so I was just sitting for much of the day. The rest of the day I was probably taking it easy.

Thanks, Agate. I'm glad you were not feeling poorly.

    Great Sunshine, you keep pushing!

Sunshine, keep on and you will be joining the Olympics. It is wonderful that you are not spasming.

After the roller, we did clam shell exercises. Hard to do slowly, to control the closing part.

ANN, I've been doing those clamshell exercises as part of my daily routine for years now and I still have to concentrate on getting them just right. Doing that slow closing isn't so easy but I do recall that the PT stressed that it was important. I like to think that this exercise is helping my legs.

That is great, Agate. I'm just starting but I have been assigned 3 sets of 12 (each side) which is 72! I am only doing 60 and the pain toward the end and after is really bad.

Pain is not good. Cut back the number to where there is no pain. Then gradually increase it by 10% every one to two weeks. That’s the advice I got, so I pass it on to you!

That sounds tiring, ANN. That's 3 sets of 12 a day? Maybe you're meant to do 12 in the morning, 12 some time during the day and 12 at night?

I've always been assigned 10 on each side per day--which is doable for me though I have a tendency to do them carelessly at times, which may not be helping much at all.
